Region's description
The Wysoczyzna land (kraj Vysocina) is called "the green heart" of the Czech Republic because it boasts one of the cleanest natural environments. This land, which has the territory of almost 7 thousands km², is wild, beautiful, full of surprising and romantic views. There are here hills and valleys, a richness of forests and groves, streams and ponds. The unique atmosphere of this region has delighted numerous artists, painters, sculptors, composers and writers since long ago.
